14 Feb Bite Beauty #TheLipPencil
I recently received the #TheLipPencil from Bite Beauty & Influenster to try out. I am all about lips, I love lipsticks, lip glosses, liquid lipsticks, but I love a good lip pencil. I was given two lipsticks and two lip pencils to try out, Honeycomb (nude) and Whiskey (deep plum/ wine) lipsticks from their Amuse Bouche lipstick line and #020 and #044 lip pencils to match. I tried both of them on but I did like the #044 pencil (deep plum) color better just because the #020 pencil was too nude and was too light for my lips.
Formula:
The lip pencil just glides so smoothly like silk on my lips it has ingredients like beeswax, whipped shea butter, candelilla wax that are all very smooth and not drying to your lips. The pigment is great as well, no need to be going over and over on your lips the first swipe gets a lot of color on your lips.
Longevity:
The pencil can be worn by itself the color payoff is great! I wore it ate some snacks here and there and it stayed on for a decent amount of time without me having to touch up. It wasn’t too drying either but it did have more of a matte-ish finish.
Over all I did like their lip pencils I would definitely check out more of their colors, I’m more of a dusty rose or red type of girl so I would definitely like to try those colors out. Thanks again to Influenster for sending these to me to try out, another great product to add to my kit.
